About Us

We are a team of people passionate about what we do.

The Studio was purpose built in 2022 to serve the wonderful community of Rosebery and the surrounding areas which we have been a part of for the past 5 years.

We have curated the World’s most advanced technologies and materials in order to delivery most comfortable, accurate and minimally invasive dental care to our patients.

All KIN dentists have been extensively trained in the art of Aesthetic + Cosmetic Dentistry.

Our Aesthetic Philosophy is to enhance what nature has already provided us with.

Ethos

We approach everything we do with an appreciation of the past, an intention to do our best in the present and an open mind to embrace the future

We work with you to create a plan that is personalised to your needs. Health care should never be a sales pitch, rather an informed and agreed upon plan that we create together.

Clinically we carry out the plan using the best materials, equipment and techniques available from around the world to achieve the best outcome.

The delivery of care especially in this era, we believe can truly be an enjoyable experience, something even worth looking forward to. Our studios are equipped with aromatherapy, blankets, TVs, noise cancelling headphones and much more.

One more thing… there’s no judgment here. We understand how hectic life is and that dental care is yet another item on the to do list (albeit an important one) so no matter how long it has been or what state your teeth are in, we’re here to help.

PHILOSOPHY

We have 2 sets of teeth for life.

We use them to smile, chew, speak and for the most part, we take them for granted… to be honest, that’s the way it should be…

You shouldn’t need to avoid or hide your smile because you’re self conscious about the look of your teeth. Choosing what to eat based on if you can avoid that sensitive or broken tooth is no way to enjoy your food.

For us, the ideal outcome is that you can go about your life without having to think about your teeth. It should just all work.

Let’s make sure they not only last the journey but behave along the way.

Resin Quick Facts

Dental resin is an advanced plastic material engineered to bond very well to tooth structure and ‘fill’ up minor defects. It’s not as strong as natural tooth structure and as a plastic will scratch, discolour and degrade over time (much like a plastic Tupperware container). Used in appropriate settings, resin restorations have a lifespan of 5-12 years.

Advantages

+ cheaper than ceramic alternatives

+ most conservative (resin can be moulded to whatever shape we want meaning we get drill less and save more of your tooth structure)

+ for minor aesthetic improvements, we can often make big improvements with minimum intervention

Limitations

– very technique sensitive – bonding and placement protocols MUST be followed strictly otherwise quality of the restoration is drastically reduced

isn’t as strong as tooth structure so doesn’t wear well under situations where high strength/support is needed

surface roughens easily leading to more plaque build up and thus higher risk of re-decay
