KIN comes from Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, so the mended piece becomes more beautiful than before. It’s also about kindness and kinship: the way we want you to feel every time you visit.

The People Behind KIN
KIN Dental Studio was founded by Dr. Liang and Dr. Serena, dentists who met at the University of Sydney back in 2001. Between them they have more than 50 years of combined experience, and they built KIN in Rosebery around the way they wanted to practise.
Dr. Liang
Principal Dentist
Liang is known for two things: technical precision and a genuinely caring nature. A University of Sydney graduate with Honours, he focuses on bonding, veneers and aligners, minimally invasive work that transforms smiles without sacrificing healthy tooth structure.
He grew up learning to repair what others had thrown away. He’s been doing it with teeth ever since.
Dr. Serena
Co-Founder and Dentist
Serena is the reason a visit to KIN feels more like a warm welcome than a medical appointment. A University of Sydney graduate, she’s a stickler for detail and cares deeply about the experience, from the first hello to the final result.
She and Liang built KIN around one simple idea: good dentistry should be easy, honest and something you actually don’t mind coming back to.
